Having just upgraded their Southern Highlands retreat, former Canterbury Bulldogs boss Malcolm Noad and high-flying business woman Holly Kramer have now secured a bolthole back in town.

It is a terrace in Paddington which cost $2.1 million.

The renovated home sold through BresicWhitney agent Nic Krasnostein who amended his price guidance to $2,055,000.

The buyers guide on listing had been $1.85 million.

Last traded for $1.44 million in 2014, the minimalist home has two bedrooms and one bathroom.

Marketed as a statement city home in Paddo's heart, the home features a striking yellow door.

It joins the Paddington craze of colourful doors that include the recent $2.85 offering of NRL Titans star Jarryd Hayne who had a garish pink front door contrasting the black facade at his Paddington home that he sold in January.

Paddington median house price sits at $1.66 million for two bedroom houses, according to CoreLogic.

The Paddington bolthole replaces their couple's five bedroom Pymble home which fetched $3.9 million in 2015.

The couple recently sold their Southern Highlands retreat, Big Sky, for $1,795,000 as they traded up to the $4.1 million Woodhurst Green at Glenquarry.

Noad has become the gentleman farmer.

Kramer sits on the boards of AMP, Australia Post and Woolworths, but lightened her load when stepped down from the board of Nine Entertainment earlier this year.

The renovated outer Melbourne home of Channel 7 House Rules design expert Carolyn Burns-McCrave failed to sell at weekend auction.

The four-bedroom Mitchum property passed in on a $1.72 million vendor bid with a $1,795,000 asking price revealed post-auction.

The home, with Hamptons-inspired grey weatherboard exterior, came with initial price hopes of $1.7 to $1.87 million.

The single storey home had been her abode since paying $381,000 in 2003 with her building designer husband, Leonard McCrave.

"Every aspect of this home's design has been well considered and completed to exacting standards," the Noel Jones marketing said.

"Your designer home awaits; embrace this rare opportunity now, and prepare to be wowed."

Former Olympic sprinter turned Fox Sports presenter Matt Shirvington and author wife Jessica have bought back in to the Mosman market, nearly a year after selling their former lower north shore home.

They've paid around $7.5 million for another Federation-era mansion, this one much bigger, coming with seven bedrooms, a tennis court and a swimming pool with spa.

There's also a self-contained studio above the garage.

The Raglan Street home last traded for $322,000 in 1980 when it was bought by former WorleyParsons executive Emil Finn and wife Genevieve.

The Shirvington's sold their former updated 1897 home (pictured main) for $4.15 million last August, scoring the pre-auction sale through McGrath's Michael Coombs.

It was the third time the couple tried to sell the home.

They had paid $2.5 million in 2008.

Fellow Fox Sports presenters have also been busy in the property market.

Louise Ransome and her partner Richard Bayliss bought a Federation home in Kensington this weekend.

Late last year Braith Anasta too was busy assembling the family homes with a couple of properties in Coogee. One for himself and one for his mum.

Australian batsman David Warner buys in Maroubra again

Australian batsman David Warner and ironwoman wife Candice can't help themselves when select property in Maroubra hits the market.

They've just settled on their fourth acquisition in two years.

It's their second investment apartment.

The two bedroom apartment cost $1,023,000, taking the couple's total spend in the coastal eastern suburb to over $8 million.

Much like their other apartment investment that cost $830,000 in 2015, its become a rental, with it leased this month at $700 a week, reflecting a 3.5 percent yield.

It's pocket change for the forever travelling Warner, who leads the fight against Cricket Australia for cricketers to earn higher incomes.

Wonder what Warner's ANZ financiers throught when he recently suggested Australia's cricketer will effectively be unemployed if a deal is not signed before July 1.

“Well from July 1 — we’re unemployed”, Warner told last week's Nine’s Sports Sunday.

Set on the top floor of a block of eight, the 94 sqm apartment acquisition has semi sized interiors with open living and distinct lounge and dining spaces.

PRDnationwide Perez Real Estate agent Vernoica Perez sold the apartment at auction.

It was bought just before Candice headed over to in India with their two daughters, Ivy Mae and Indi Rae, to support Warner who played in the IPL for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The couple's $3.9 million knockdown on Mermaid Avenue - set to be their forever home - appears to be a slow progression.

It hasn't even been demolished yet.

The couple submitted now approved Rolf Ockert plans last year after their late 2015 buy. The plans are for a brand new five level home at an estimated $4 million cost.

They bought the property through McGrath's Simon Exleton as they secured the $7.05 million sale of their luxury South Coogee home.

With the old home on the 892 sqm parcel yet to be demolished, the Warners bought a stop gap home round the corner last year.

Warner retains one Matraville investment apartment.

The former Matraville Public School student retains a two bedder than cost $695,000 in 2010.

He might be partners with captain Steve Smith out in the middle, but the pair seem to be battling it out for the number one property aficionado in the team.

Smith has just acquired his third property on the Balmain Peninsula, paying $1.95 million for the dilapidated Birchgrove home of architect David Gole.

It was marketed as a "vintage treasure ripe for reinvention" by Cobden & Hayson agent Danny Cobden.

Smith retains a $1.75 million apartment home in Coogee.

Offering an abundance of indoor and outdoor living, the dining and living spaces open to a rear garden, dining terrace and wraparound courtyard.

Alexander Phillips and Gavin Lewis at Phillips Pantzer Donnelly sold the home.

It's the couples first property purchase together.

Phipps still holds on to a two bedroom investment unit in Cremorne that cost $590,000 in 2012.

Phipps began his career at the Melbourne Rebels in 2010 where he was mentored by former Wallaby halfback Sam Cordingley.
