The My Kitchen Rules co-host and celebrity chef Pete Evans and wife, the former glamour-model turned nutritionist Nicola Robinson, have decided to lease their former Malabar home.

The couple have quickly secured tenants having asked $1,600 a week.

They've recently moved in to their forever home, just down the street, which they had been building for the last few years.

The former 1960s knockdown cost them $1.27 million in 2014. They spent around $1 million building the two-level, Metricon-designed home with a roof terrace and magnesium swimming pool.

Their former home was pulled from auction last month, when would-be buyers were being told similar homes were selling for between $2.5 million and $3 million.

It had cost them $1.44 million a 2013.

Built in 2008, it has five bedrooms and a designer commercial kitchen which opens on to a ground level wraparound courtyard.

Evans and Robinson have enhanced the size of the courtyard, which now features a swimming pool along with more entertaining space complete with barbecue and fireplace.

The upper level terrace, off the curved media room and master bedroom, has ocean views.

The couple wed in a secret ceremony in late 2016 on their farm.

The controversial celebrity chef hit headlines earlier when he endorsed a podcast supporting anti-vaxxer views, which actively encouraged parents to not listen to doctors' calls to vaccinate their children.

It comes after Evans said in 2016 there was no need for suncream.

Jordana Sharon-Zipser, wife of hipages co-founder Roby Sharon-Zipser, has listed their Vaucluse abode for an April 11 auction.

The buyers have been given a $7 million price guidance by Ray White duo Gavin Rubinstein and Oliver Lavers.

It was bought from hotelier Andrew Lazarus and his wife Denise off-market for $8 million last May. The Olola Ave residence, with Cameron Kimber interiors, was bought after they sold their North Bondi semi for $2.85 million in 2016.

It seems they have their eye on something even better.

The Vaucluse prestige market has been quite active this year. Some of the activity included the pre-auction sale of the home of businessman Alex Ma above its $30 million price guide.

There was also Cambridge Ave sale of the home of yachtsman Warwick Rooklyn for $6,225,000, which was $725,000 above reserve.

Home improvement classifieds website hipages, which connects homeowners with tradies, was founded in 2004, with News Corporation now owning a stake.

Comedic TV presenter Julia Morris moves to Sydney

The comedic television presenter Julia Morris and her husband, Dan Thomas, have made the move back to Sydney from Melbourne.

They have chosen Coogee as their base, renting a modernised 1930s Coogee family home (above and below) that was offered at $2,000 a week over the summer break.

Their relocation — interrupted by Morris filming I’m a Celebrity Get me out of Here! in Africa — came after being selected to co-host Channel 10’s new show, Chris & Julia’s Sunday Night Takeaway.

After six years away from Sydney, the move also meant they’d be closer to family who reside at Kincumber on the Central Coast.

The show, filmed live at the nearby Fox Studios Australia, hasn’t been a ratings winner.

It has lost viewers three weeks in a row, down last Sunday night to 259,000 viewers.

Struggling against Nine’s Married At First Sight and Seven’s My Kitchen Rules, the show had debuted in late February with 383,000 viewers.

Morris and Dr Chris Brown both appear on the more successful Channel 10 show, I’m a Celebrity Get me out of Here!

Their Coogee rental, last traded for $3.6 million in 2016, has four bedrooms, for the couple’s two daughters.

Morris and Thomas have their own master retreat, complete with a walk in wardrobe, ensuite and private balcony.

The ground level living space, separate to the dining area, opens to a rear garden with lawns and a barbecue terrace.

Dr Chris Brown possibly helped them choose the eastern suburbs coastal lifestyle, as previously they’d did a stint in the harbour capital at Narrabeen.

Brown had long been based at Bondi until his move in 2017 to Clovelly, where he spent $5.8 million on a classic beach house.

Morris and Thomas had been paying around $2,000 a week in Melbourne, renting a 1920s home with a pool in Brighton which their landlords paid $4.5 million in 2015.

They retain a $400 a week investment property on the outskirts of Geelong which cost $366,000 in 2014.

Morris, who grew up around Gosford the Central Coast, worked in real estate briefly as an agency receptionist before embarking on her career in comedy.

After trying her luck in the UK, she returned to Australia teaming up with Gus Worland on The Singing Office. She then teamed up with opera singer David Hobson, winning It Takes Two in 2008.

During the It Takes Two series she had joked: “Australia, I think it’s time that a nearly 40-year-old, overweight woman wins something in this country”.

International model Erin McNaught and her DJ husband Example have snapped up a Queensland stunner, as they bid farewell to London to re-connect with family.

The couple have secured a uber-modern home in her home town costing $2.8 million. It was on the market for just a day, having taken two years to build.

It is in Brisbane's inner city Paddington, not far from Kenmore when McNaught went to school.

Her parents, Andy and Lindy, live in neighbouring Milton and Example's parents live on the Gold Coast, and his sister in Sydney.

McNaught has been settling in to life in Brisbane, and the move into the new home late last month.

Since the new year she's visited the Koala's at Australia Zoo and she's been frequenting the Sanctuary Cove Country Club for some workouts.

She says the weather's a bit different than in London.

"Tried to cool off by lying on some tiles," she wrote to her 177,000 Instagram followers.

"They were lukewarm which is still colder than scalding, which is what everything else in Australia seems to be right now."

When flying home for Christmas, McNaught, accompanying a picture on a plane with her youngest son Ennio, captioned the photo "Home. (Note to self: NEVER LEAVE)"

The Canberra-born model has been married to the London-born Example, whose real name is Elliot Gleave, for six years. The pair met in 2011 when Erin interviewed Example for MTV Australia, some five years after her crowning as Miss Universe Australia.

They wed near Ballina, outside of Byron Bay in 2013 and honeymooned at Bora Bora.

The move back was foreshadowed as long back as 2012 when McNaught told the Daily Telegraph they wanted to move to Australia in 'a year or two.'

In 2014 Example tweeted of plans to move to Australia by 2018 at the latest.

More recently McNaught confirmed the family, now with two young boys Evander and Ennio, would be back despite describing London as an amazing city.

It was having children that McNaught realised it was time to come home as everything is so much more accessible.

At one point she tried to book her boys into swimming lessons, but there was a four-month waiting list.

The home, dubbed The Russet House due to its copper and russet toned finishes, was designed and built by the in demand pairing of Tim Stewart Architects and Graya Construction, who have penned their names to some of Queensland's most contemporary houses in recent times.

The home was sold by Rob Gray, one of the brothers who make up Graya Constructions.

Gray and wife Meghan paid $986,000 for the modest 1920s home before its complete two year rebuild.

The Russet House spans four levels and has five bedrooms, four bathrooms, an underground four-car garage and a number of outdoor decks, including a rooftop viewing terrace, with views of the city.

The loft-style mezzanine on the second level overlooks the open-plan kitchen.

In the 445 sqm grounds is a swimming pool.

The home was sold quietly by Ray White New Farm agents Matt Lancashire and Josh Brown.

The peripatetic stylist Sibella Court has sold her Vogue Living-featured Bellevue Hill apartment.

As she seeks a sea change in Sydney’s southern suburb of Bundeena, the designer’s redundant pad had been offered with $1.7 million hopes through Phillips Pantzer Donnelley.

It was given a makeover after it was bought in 2016 for $1.65 million which had followed the sale of her Victorian-era shopfront home in Paddington for $1.34 million.

The two-bedroom Blaxland Road, Bellevue Hill top-floor space was marketed as a “creative fusion of beautiful natural materials and vintage treasures”.

One of only five in a revived Art Deco block, the house-like residence offered 168 square metres of indoor/outdoor living space.

She had CWF Constructions remove a wall dividing the living area and its very little kitchen which then had Winchester Interiors fit out the new kitchen’s joinery,

There was a handmade Moroccan tile splashback along with the Smeg appliances.

It sold for an undisclosed pre-auction price, highlighting a trend that regularly sees more pre-auction sales than actual under the hammer Saturday auction success stories across Sydney this year.

The Bellevue Hill mansion of fashion designer Camilla Freeman-Topper and husband David Topper, secretly sold off market, has settled at $16.5 million to Melbourne buyers Nick Leos and his wife Emma.

The Toorak-based Leos heads Evolution Precast Systems, which produces architectural precast concrete walls, concentrating on high-quality bespoke projects.

After more than 20 years’ experience within the precast industry in Victoria, the 48-year-old has recognised a growing demand for precast across NSW.

The couple’s purchase secured a 1930s home with Mediterranean touches on Rupertswood Avenue, which last sold in 2013 for $6 million.

Since then it has been renovated by Luigi Rosselli Architects with Freeman-Topper adding her flair to the interiors.

Freeman-Topper went on a research trip to Milan during Salon de Mobile with her interior designer, Romaine Alwill of Alwill Interiors, Architectural Digest noted.

Camilla and Marc recently opened its 11th boutique in Australia. However, given Camilla and Marc’s expansionary US commitments, she is relocating to Los Angeles for a few months.

They sold their home after “accepting an offer they could not refuse”, the pair said in a statement.

“The Topper-Freemans are looking forward to the next exciting chapter of their journey.”

The deal reportedly included the mansion’s furnishings right down to the cutlery.

The five-bedroom, four-bathroom house sits on an 800 square metre cul-de-sac block.
