Armada fund manager boss Christopher Monaghan and wife Kerry have bought back their Mosman home for $7.1 million.
Their purchase was considerably less than the $8 million plus price guide it had a year ago.
It was in 2010 they relinquished the keys to Future Fund founding board member Susan Doyle and her veteran equities husband Richard Douglas, selling for $5.8 million.
The contemporary four bedroom home on 766 sqm has a 26 metre lap pool with sandstone water feature, set in a landscaped backyard by Secret Gardens.
Doyle has paid $4.25 million for the Potts Point sub-penthouse of veteran Universal Music exec Janine Ashton.
The Pomeroy apartment with two bedrooms and harbour views had been on and off the market for six years.
Ashton had paid $2.25 million in 2004.
