Stuntman and film director Nash Edgerton has secured tenants for his cool Darlinghurst apartment following his family home purchase in Randwick earlier in the year.
He was seeking tenants at $1,495 a week for the Manhattan-style loft which he bought for $740,000 back in 2008, just after he directed the neo-noir thriller The Square, written by his brother Joel Edgerton.
The three bedroom apartment underwent a recent renovation, with a skylight fitout to the double heights ceilings that feature exposed metal beams.
The extended loft is the master suite.
Edgerton recently spent $3,565,000 on a family home in Randwick just two weeks in to its marketing.
It was the home of Adam Chimes, the director at Chase Gallery, and wife Tayla.
The Chimes had paid $1.64 million for the 1910 home in 2014 and undertook a full-scale renovation two years ago.
Retaining original fixtures, the modernised single-level home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms on its 360sqm block. The kitchen and family area opens to an entertainers’ deck that meets a heated pool.
The Blacket Agency’s Peter and Jacqueline Blacket secured the quick sale, which came with approval to add a second level, which Edgerton seems set on undertaking.
