Thoroughbred industry veterans Phil and Fiona Sloane are selling Ridgeview Stud, their prominent rural Victorian equestrian property.
The 104 hectare estate in Muskerry, near Bendigo, has turned out a number of winners from racehorses reared on the property.
It was once home to 1989 Melbourne Cup winner Tawriffic.
Phil Sloane recently accepted an appointment with a major thoroughbred stud close to his origins at Cootamundra.
Ridgeview Park has a breeding barn of 19 stable boxes including six stallion boxes.
There are nine foaling down paddocks supported by a brick foaling barn with five boxes and an electric six horse walker.
There are a number of outbuildings, as well as a main four bedroom double brick homestead with swimming pool.
There's also a two bedroom timber cottage and another one bedroom cottage.
Rodwells Ruralco Property agent Jeanette Laffan is considering the offers for the property in conjunction with Pat Rice & Hawkins agent Matt Childs.
They are expecting a sale over $900,000.
