The former Coogee home of model Jennifer Hawkins and her then builder fiance Jake Wall has hit the market for the first time since they sold to head off to Sydney's northern beaches in 2012.

It proved a bit of a baptism of fire in the world of property for Hawkins and Wall, who in recent times have made handsome profits from their property dealings.

They actually made a small loss on the 2002-built property following her four year ownership, buying for $2.27 million in 2008 and then selling for $2.22 million in 2012, just before prices began to soar across in Sydney over the next five years.

She noted after it took six months to sell in 2012 that "Wow.... the property market in Sydney is tough."

The Moore Street home, part of a 2002-built duplex near Gordon's Bay, spans 240 sqm over its four levels.

It has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and an open plan kitchen, living and dining area that flows to the rear alfresco deck with pool.

I checked it out at yesterday's open for inspection, and the bespoke home had no traces of the celebrity couple. The current owner had recently extended the pool to run the full length of the courtyard.

The neighbouring duplex owner failed to find a buyer after 130 days on the market last year and then sought tenants at $2,400 a week.

Phillips Pantzer Donnelley agents Alexander Phillips and David Tyrell are marketing the former Hawkins property with a $3.2 million price guide.

Hawkins and Wall now live on Pittwater having profitably flipped properties around Curl Curl in the prior five years.

One of the projects was a luxury home they collaborated on which sold for $5.25 million in 2016 to cricket power couple Mitchell and Alyssa Starc.

This week Hawkins posted on Instagram a Pittwater poolside shot with her "two favourite men," Jake and her dad Bob, who's got just the 10 followers, a way behind Hawkin's 872,000 and Wall's 83,000.
