Rick Fenny, the Perth businessman, is still seeking to sell his holiday retreat for $25 million.

The south WA coast property, Maitraya is set on the picturesque coastline of Nanarup, near Albany.

It  is on 263 hectares fronting three ocean beaches.

The farmland property comfortably sleeps 30 people across an eight-bedroom sandstone manor, five-bedroom fisherman’s lodge and two-bedroom pilot cottage.

Fenny purchased the property from Joan Terry in 2007, the widow of wealthy entrepreneur Paul Terry who died in a helicopter crash in Hawaii in 1993.

There is a 900m airstrip and helicopter landing pad,

Fenny, one of Australia’s most successful career veterinarians operating one of the largest networks of vet practices, is best known for his role in trying to save the life of WA’s legendary Red Dog and took him on his last ride to Cossack in 1976 where he was buried.

It has been listed since May 2015 with agent Nicolette van Wijngaarden, from Unique Estates.
