Australian fashion designer and television presenter Alex Perry has secured a Sydney investment apartment.
Set in Dominion on Forbes, the apartment cost Perry $1.7 million. It returns $1,050 a week in rent, reflecting a 3.2 percent yield. The initial asking rental was higher at $1200.
The two bedroom apartment spans 105 sqm. A living room extends on to a balcony.
Dominion on Forbes has been developed in recent years, combining both heritage and modern buildings on the former historic Caritas House site.
Perry is one of Australia's most renowned designers and has had his designs worn by everyone from HRH Crown Princess Mary to Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez.
